Ramadan 2021 is Different!

It’s that special time of the year again, it’s Ramadan. Ramadan is a holy month that is filled with blessings and mercy for all Muslims. It is the month of fasting from sunrise till sunset, this month is awaited by everyone all around the world. 

With the arrival of Ramadan month we decorate our houses with different Ramadan decoration themes by using eastern elements and elegant Islamic designs to fill our houses with Ramadan vibes and as a way of welcoming Ramadan, decorating for Ramadan has become a tradition in every house. We can use different things in decorating like lightnings to bring a joyful atmosphere, lanterns, crescent moons which are Ramadan’s sign, stars, and some kinds of ornamental papers.

Families gather together each evening when the sun sets to break their fast together in the Iftar meal that consists of varieties of Ramadan traditional food like; the refreshing juices like Jallab, Amar al-Din and Tamarind, also the Turkish Ramadan Flat Bread and for dessert Qatayef, and they often stay up to the early hours of the morning enjoying time with family and friends till Suhoor meal,  even though Ramadan will be a bit different this year because of Corona pandemic,  we will miss sharing this holy month with friends and the whole family gathered around Iftar but we have faith that God will soon reunite us.

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021, as the second stop of fashion Week on the Fashion Month circuit, over 80 brands gathered in the UK ,involving a mixture of digital and physical presentations. It didn’t disappoint us even though it was in the midst of a lock-down. JW Anderson was right when she said that” Sometimes a fashion show is more than a fashion show” because this fashion show had all kinds of eye-catching styles and colors. 

The main point in this fashion week was joy, and that was obvious from the colors. Starting from the shades of sunny yellow, pretty light pinks and purples, and different shades of blue till the basic colors which are the shades of silver and oily green, and definitely these are the colors that we all need to see after a very tough, bad, and dark time that we went through because of corona pandemic and its consequences. 

Pantone Fashion Color, recognized as the color standards system for London fashion week for this season. Here are the top colors that were in London fashion week 2021:

 

  1. PANTONE 14-3205 – Pirouette

    This shade of light pink, brings us comfort.
  2. PANTONE 16-0436 – Pickled Pepper

    Mixing grass green color with light yellow which feels so tangy.
  3. PANTONE 15-3716 – Purple Rose
    The light purple is quietly elegant. It feels fresh and represent love at first sight.
  4.  PANTONE 16-1253 – Orange Ochre

    This orange shade goes with all seasons and breaks up the cool of early spring.
  5. PANTONE 13-5412 – Beach Glass

     A watery aqua color, this color symbolizes renewal and healing, also its a metaphor for life.

    It’s a golden orange shade that lends a warming presence, and it symbolizes positive emotions and energy.

    It’s a shade of blue between light and dark blue. It symbolizes bright and gorgeous spirit.

    It’s a shade of red that’s full of energy and power.

    A bright color that brings joy, and it presents the color of a sunny day.

    Blue Atoll is the color of the ocean and the sky; it often symbolizes serenity, stability, inspiration, wisdom or health.Not only these joyful colors, but also there were 5 core classic colors :1- PANTONE 11-0202 – Baby’s Breath

    This tinted off-white color appears soft mood.    2- PANTONE 17-1221 – Macchiato

    Macchiato is like a cup of coffee with a shade of cream.

    3- PANTONE 19-4105 – Polar Night


    Polar night is a dark blue with black tones, its also called twilight blue.

    4- PANTONE 17-5104 – Ultimate Gary

    The color ultimate gray is a timeless and practical color, and its also attractive at the same time.

     

    5- PANTONE 18-0529 – Sphagnum

    Sphagnum is the moss plant color, when you’re looking at this color you may feel the smell of nature, which arouses our passion to explore life.

    There was a high level of creativity that was done by the designers, it was obvious from the different styles of the items that were designed and by the shades of colors that were used in the show that will suit different tastes of people and also will suit different skin tones.

Mother’s day is a celebration across the world, in more than 50 countries, to honor the mother, who is the heart and the light of home, mothers’ role is not only in our lives, but also in our society and in the world, without our mothers we won’t be in this world.

Mothers’ job is the most influential, difficult and important job in the world and not everyone is able to do it. It starts when they get pregnant, other than their life and their lifestyle change, they risk their lives when they give birth, and then they put their children above anything or anyone else in their lives. They teach their children everything in life, they teach them how to walk, how to eat, how to talk, how to make right decisions, they even teach them how to love by loving them from all their hearts. Also they are always there for them specially in the dark times, they understand and know their children more than anyone else, that’s why they are the reason behind all their children’s success in everything. In addition, mothers can be adoptive mothers not only biological ones, because being a mother is not just about giving birth.

 

Every mother is a chef, housekeeper, teacher, chauffeur, counselor, also a health care provider on daily basis, but not every woman is lucky to have help with these duties whether from her family or from the children’s father, some women are single parents they take the role of mother and father at the same time, they work to get money to feed and raise their children and they take care of their house and their children alone.

These are some of our mothers’ roles, but what do we have to do in return to our mothers?

We have to respect and take care of our mothers after all these sacrifices and effort they did for us while raising us, this is the least thing we can do for them.
