Modest fashion dominated the Milan shows
The concept of modest fashion no longer refers to a culture, religion or race, but rather it is more comprehensive.
It is a personal taste and a sense of comfort and practicality that suits women in different cultures, which made the most important fashion brands focus on modest looks in their presentations at Milan Fashion Week.
Due to the tendency of many women to wear what is far from nudity and close to modesty, this season’s shows are filled with modest fashion for those who are keen on modest elegance.
These are the most modest looks from Milan Fashion Week:
Max Mara
Presented this modest look by Max Mara, which combines elegance and simplicity, and neutral colors to be a harmonious look.
Prada
The second modest look is from Prada for the spring-summer 202
3 season, in black and white, in 3 pieces, including a long white skirt, a short white jacket decorated with prominent black and gray flowers, and a black sweater under the jacket.
Giorgio Armani

The see through fabrics and the chiffon
As in the London and New York Fashion Weeks, transparent fabrics also topped the various designs in Milan.
Despite the difficulty of choosing them in many designs, their varied coordination made some looks appropriate, some of them relied completely on transparent fabric and narrow chiffon skirts. Many of them used transparent fabric over the basic pieces, making them more suitable for a diversity of tastes.
Layering over pants and skirts
Many designs at Milan Fashion Week were distinguished by layers of fabric of varying transparency over the basic pieces.
Cargo pants
Cargo pants designs were featured in various shows, but the most prominent feature of Milan’s 2023 shows was the choice of satin fabric, as featured in the designs of Fendi and Jil Sander.
Metallic glossy colors
Metallic-colored fabrics were distinctive for many designs and collections. but they were more prominent in shoes, bags, and some designs of Diesel’s summer and spring 2023 collection.
Trousers with narrow cuts
At Milan’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway, the narrow-cut trousers are back again in Prada and Ferragamo collections.
Faded jeans
The faded jeans return from the fashion of the nineties to the designs of spring-summer 2023 at Milan Fashion Week.
